Easter Premier League Fixtures (06/04/12 - 11/04/12)

Parker's limitations are shown up in a game like this where Spurs have all the ball an he offers nothing in the top half of the pitch.

This.

Was the other way round.

They were excellent away on the counter but at home they tried the same thing and had no plan b. Most Villa fans will tell you they were extremely dull at home.

And this.

I am not surprised a Gers fan would not be his greatest fan, in fairness..

A gers fan? i'm a United fan with a passing interest in Gers due to ties with a couple of current players. Don't give enough of a shit to not have a subjective opinion on MON.

He's an excellent manager and was a great player for NI. He's a fantastic motivator and makes average players look like pretty good ones. Just think his teams style of play isn't always the most pleasing on the eye.

Sunderland have played some very good football at times under MON... I would say this game is more towards the exception than the rule. I don't think anyone would suggest that Tottenham play crap football this season based off this one game.

The last 2 games against City and QPR, Sunderland played some excellent stuff... the 3rd goal in both those games were excellent team goals.

Been quite a few matches since I was last impressed with Modric.

Why does Bale keep drifting in the middle? Might work against a Norwich but clearly it effects Modric's play.

Clearly, but it seems to me that he is unfairly criticised for producing hoofing, dull football teams. What he produces are teams that are often greater than the sum of their parts.

Why is it unfair if it's true? O'Neill does produce boring hoof ball. I'm not interested in what his results are, he's not managing my club (thank God). What I am interested in is settling down on a Saturday afternoon watching a good game of football... Which O'Neill has denied me.

It's alright though, there's always this evening's game. Oh... Wait.

Yes, we all say Gary Neville's analysis on MNF a few weeks ago thanks.

Lennon on. About time too.

Will improve the game so much. Spurs will be better ad Sunderland will be more dangerous on the counter too.

I just turned the game on. Expect goals, bitches.

I would rather they showed the South Coast derby between Southampton and Portsmouth.

Shit game.

Adebayor can be fantastic on his day or totally shit.

Saha looks rejuvenated and should get a look today.

That summed the whole game up then. Spurs get the ball back on the edge of their box and instead of everyone rushing forward they amble out of the back and give the ball away. No tempo at all. Really poor.

Terrible game, Tottenham won't make top 4.

Watching this game has actually made my life appreciably worse.

Huddersfield lost 2-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday... which probably puts them out of contention for automatic promotion.

Hiring Grayson was a bad-step in my opinion... I can see the reasoning behind getting rid of Clark, but if they were going to do that, I think they should have had someone better then Grayson in mind to take over.
