Fantasy Premier League 18/19

Tempted to drop Aguero. Getting subbed off each week around 60 mins is really annoying and seems to be impacting his ability to get hauls.

At least (in City terms) he consistently plays though. Kane and Lukaku are a waste of space so maybe 3 mid range strikers and a packed midfield is the way to go.

Ive been wanting to put Martial in for a while but concerned he will just be dropped the next game.

I will probably put him in and upgrade one of my subs. Hes dirt cheap for his points potential if hes allowed to play each week

Gonna make some swaps... Opinions please?

Out: TAA
In: Lovren, Bellarin or Shaw

Out: Lucas
In: Maddison or Martial

Yeah thats the annoying thing he never gets full 90 mins, I put him captain today with Bunley at home, saw the end scoreline and expected a brace or hat-trick in there but instead 4 different scorers that's more annoying. Hazard v-captain was a waste, should have put it on Lacazette, poor week for me so far (24pts) but I've been due one for ages. Just got Pickford, Richarlison and Lacazette to salvage something.

I’m actually thinking 3-5-2, as not a fan of the premium strikers this year outside Aguero (and he has his own problems with minutes, as discussed).

I may wildcard to this, particularly given West Ham’s fixtures:

Fabianski
Mendy - Robertson - Alonso
Hazard - Salah - Richarlison - Maddison - De Bruyne
Mitrovic - Arnoutovic

Subs; Hamer, Lovren, Wan-Bissaka, Stephens

feck it, done my double transfer as I wouldn't be able to if any prices change.

TAA and Lucas out with Lovren and Martial in.

Feels great to have a United player in the team

My defense is now Trippier, Lovren and Alonso.

Wish there was a way to bring Mendy in but I have Aguero and Ederson so don't want to triple up on them considering they're playing Spurs and United in their next three.

Played my wildcard this week as I've moved to the bottom of the table. Took Pereyra and Salah out both of them score, bloody typical.

Watford only do well when I have none of them in my team, so feel free to get Pereyra back in, I'm done with the lot of them.

So far 29 points this week. Maddison, Wan-Bissaka and Richarlison to go, another wank gameweek after the best start I've ever had.

Fecking Pep Guardiola is my idol.

Martial is top of the ins list now.

People are either gonna get the drop on him or be sorely disappointed.

Mane looking to drop tonight.
It's semi-reactive because of the injury, but he hasn't brought points in for ages.
Don't know whether to just get KDB in for him now. Wanted to wait til Mane probably starts against Cardiff.

I got in Martial too. I was going to bring in Maddison, mainly due to Leicester's easy run in but I really want a United player and Martial is the only one that looks like getting points. I know the decision making is wrong here but I couldn't help it

Once Mane is back to full fitness, I'll bring him and Vardy in for Salah and Ings.

Took Lucas Moura out and got Martial in. Hope he doesn't dissappoint me & continues to score. The former wasn't doing anything in the last couple of weeks anyway.

Sounds like Mane only just missed this game from what Klopp was saying. I cannot decide what to do with him. I was tempted by KDB anyway but it seems negligent not to have a Liverpool attacker. BUT they're nowhere near as good as City.

Have one from each.

City have spurs and United in the next three. Liverpool have easier fixtures.

League here with Phil Neville, Schmikes, Ian Wright, Shearer in it etc.

Wright is on 6 points and Andy Townsend 9

Oof! So much for my predictions of a high scoring week. Quite happy with my 49 now and abundance of green arrows although that will probably change after the game tonight. Looks like Pep and Sterling played a big part in shafting people this week.

Bizarrely the thing that annoyed me most was seeing Knockaert on the bench for Brighton. Granted he was on my bench too and not needed but that's a worry when I specifically brought him in for this run of games as a cheeky punt. Need to decide now whether I move him out again or Trippier this week.

The question is who?

I can't afford Salah. Can only have one of KdB or Mane. I have Firmino but he is on a free fall in terms of Net Transfers (and his sub last GW doesn't help).

Shaqiri or Mane I'd feel. Think Mane will be back next week. I have Salah, so I'll wait for Mane to be fully back before making the transfer.

It's not a bad move if you are only thinking temporary, but I would be planning/ready to transfer out in 2-3 weeks. Not many people will have the luxury to take punts like that.

Arnautovic must be considering based on his fixture list. City is the only one that stands out.

Leicester (A)
Burnley (H)
Huddersfield (A)
Man City (H)
Newcastle (A)
Cardiff (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Fulham (A)
Watford (H)
Southampton (A)
Burnley (A)
Brighton (H)

I've got no idea what to do. 2 FTs and 0,6 ITB.

Who's the current must haves in each position?
Same spot as you but an extra million.

Below is a list of ownership in the top 50 teams in Overall, First number is how many times they appear in the teams.
49 Hazard
45 Agüero
41 Alonso
40 Wan-Bissaka
39 Robertson
34 Doherty
28 Salah
28 Richarlison
27 Mitrovic
25 Wilson
25 Maddison
24 Fraser
21 Trippier
21 Patrício
20 Mendy
17 Ederson
15 Hamer
12 Jiménez
9 Lacazette
9 Alexander-Arnold
9 Bennett
7 Hart
6 Billing
6 Mané
6 Ings

Aguero/Lacazette/Vardy as a striker.

Hazard as a midfielder. Else Richarlison/Maddison

Mendy, Robertson, Alonso and one Wolves defender.

Pretty much this, I think Vardy will be a solid move.

I've currently got a defence of Alonso, Laporte, David Luiz, Wan-bissaka and Bennett. Do you think it's worth doing Laporte > Mendy and D.Luiz > Robertson ?

Or upgrade Bennett to Doherty?

Yeah I'd been planning a Wilson > Arnie switch after the Leicester v West Ham game (mainly because Bournemouth have leaky Fulham next). His knee troubles are worrying though.

Keep Bennett as is.

Robertson is a solid buy. Pretty much nailed on as LB. BPS magnet, especially when playing at home + attacking returns. And is getting CS given how Liverpool's defense has improved.

Mendy is the same as Robertson. However, he is a slight risk to me because Pep's tendency to rotate players out of the blue, and sometimes his antics might result in him getting dropped.

What a terrible gameweek. Lacazette as captain and he's totally taking the piss tonight. The burden of champion is crushing me. It's been an inept title defence thus far and is stumbling from bad to worse.

I needed lacazette to do nothing as one assist would have seen a work colleague beat me in our work cup.
Phew.

Got exact money to do Trippier, Fraser, Aguero to Maguire, KDB, Aubameyang for a -4. Worth it?

Option B is Trippier/Murray > Maguire/Lacazette.

Current team, 2 FT, £2.9m Banked.

Ederson
Alsono Trippier Robertson
Hazard Mane Maddison Fraser
Aguero Wilson Murray

Bournemouth lads need to go soon as well as Trippier so first option makes sense and I get to keep City attacking returns. Or I could go D.Silva over KDB and save £1.2m
