Liverpool v Manchester United

Jones playing his Blackburn role in front of the defence it seems. Saw him play it a couple of times and he was making as many tackles and interceptions as Mascherano. Didnt see what the fuss was about with his technical ability and passing at the time, but obviously he's shown a wealth of that since moving to united

Apparently Rooney is in the squad and on the bench. Nani, maybe it's because he played two games in the past week. It's say 'contain' is what this team is all about...

Fergie, Never stops surprising us.

The line up makes sense. That team is out to stop Liverpool from playing. Fergie going for a 1-0

no offence, but our line-up is really wierd, can welbeck play alone upfront? :nervous:

To make matters worse my fantasy football team isnt going to do well this week!

Still... Come one United!

Cannot see us getting a result with this team. Our 3 best players are sitting out and we have an unfit fletcher, a defender and a 37 year old in midfield.

Jones playing in midfield for the first time for United.

Well I was totally wrong as usual

To say I'm relishing seeing Jones in midfield is an understatement. He's shown all the attributes for it and with a bit of freedom

Jones in midfield to add steel is quality - I quite like that lineup tbh

That's a bit of a shock team.

For what it's worth, I quite excited about seeing Jones in midfield.

SUBS: Lindegaard, Carrick, Anderson, Nani, Valencia, Rooney, Hernandez.

Ridiculous bench! That said am a tad worried about the starting XI, although you've got to say, he's picked his big game players in Park, Fletcher and Giggs so let's hope they all show up.

I'm still confident.
