Liverpool

They're going to win it. May as well just accept they deserve it and that if it wasn't for our car crash of a manager, we'd at least have made things difficult, and possibly would have prevented this

I still am sure that both City and Chelsea will get something out their games at Anfield. And I actually see Chelsea winning that game. Mou will use all his dark arts to ensure that.

If Aguero isn't fully firing then City can easily lose there. Liverpool just overwhelm teams at home and the opponents usually shit their pants at the sight of Suarez. Chelsea might win there, they might lose 4-0. They are unpredictable right now. City simply must not lose next week.

Well it's not an absolute pittance in comparison, but I take your point.

I never said spending money is key to all things. All I am disputing is the assertion that Mr. Bullshit has done it scrapping the barrel bottom. He has spend a significant amount of money since he joined Liverpool. Some managers would give their left nut for a chance to spend £100m in 2 seasons.

Also, you cannot dispute that you have had the fortune of managerial changes at all three top clubs. All credit to Mr. Bullshit for taking the full advantage of it and for Liverpool's performances this season. Neither I, or anyone else can deny it.

Although forgive me if I am not ready to hail him as some kind of Robinhood, who has come as a messiah for the poor and the downtrodden Liverpool fans.

Mr Bullshit

It's amusing the ease with which 'Pool fans neglect that Mr. Bullshit has spent close to £100m since his arrival last term. Also, that a significant amount was spent before his arrival by his predecessor.

Amazing how he is hailed a hero, working his magic under great financial duress.

Mr Bullshit? What are you, 12?

Its' all set up really isnt it?

Stevie G's first title.
Massive bellsniffery on the pitch with ex players et all and sky and bt collectively having an orgasm over it.

If the Undertaker losing at Wrestlemania isn't a sign of this happening i don't know what is.

My commentator in the last game was swooning over his child like smile and enthusiasm. I threw up...twice.

He loves to play the Liverpool faithful like a fiddle. Been doing that since his arrival.

I love being played by him. His insidious methods for winning us over are terrific.

Yeah that's pretty cringeworthy by Shinjisan, which is somewhat ironic.

I fully appreciate that it has been a lot easier for Liverpool to concentrate on the league as we have not been in European competition. There can be no denying the benefit of that but the suggestion by some that this is the main/only reason for our improvement is wide of the mark. By that rational if you guys are not sitting top of the league with 5 games to go next season then you will have underachieved. Is that right?

Granada news or should i say Liverpool and the Wirral news and if anything happens elsewhere we may put it on will be vomit inducing. If these win the league i am going into hiding. I hate everything City stand for they are like the Battersby's of football but all rational thinking goes out the window when it comes to this mob. It cannot happen. I will be slightly cheering the blue half of town on this Sunday.

:) One swallow doesn't make a summer. Hold onto your horses, lads.

We never said it does - but the fiddle comment was quite laughable.
Playing us like a fiddle and we currently top of the league.

Rooney and van Persie.

I heard something mention a similar stat on a podcast a few weeks/months back. It must be common enough for two strikers not to pass to each other in certain games.

Of course, you don't need passing stats to see that Rooney and RvP have never really looked like a well matched partnership.

I have a feeling Liverpool will dismantle City next week.... as in 3-0 in the first 20 minutes once again.

I have a feeling this will be the case as well. Anfield will be rocking, Liverpool will come flying out the traps ala Spurs, Arsenal and City will be as casual as they were against the saints. 3-0 inside 30 minutes, game over.

Have the same feeling.

Lets not forget next week will be the remembrance for the 25th year of Hillsborough which should make it even more of a special atmosphere along with the obvious title implications.

I don't know if City will be able to handle it. They are massive bottlers in pressure situations. Especially away from home.

Have a feeling pressure will be a bit too much on them and they'll lose, similar to us vs. City during the Feb'08 game.

I think it will be a draw- a high scoring draw at that.. both teams defences are rockyish and even without Aguero City still have the ability to score goals. If it's a tight game which would not be a suprise because in games like this teams are scared of losing then i think it will suit City- Liverpool are the favourites in a lot of peoples eyes and City for me stand more chance in a game where it's a case of nicking one. Will make a fantastic watch either way.

I just hope Pellegrini and the City players know what awaits them. Yes the players have played at Anfield before but as in the last years City were competing against us for the title the atmosphere was not as hostile when City played Liverpool as it will be this time or as it is when United/Chelsea are playing Liverpool at Anfield.

Apart from that City will be fine, it's not like they haven't experienced big games or hostile atmosphere before, they only recently played in Barcelona for example and a lot of their players are experienced enough.

The atmosphere is going to be sensational. It'll be Chelsea 05 x2 and if you want to know how that was ask duffer or rob. Best atmosphere I've experienced when I've been to a game.

PA system turned up to the max, will be boss la'.

And what? £100 over 4 transfer windows isn't that much for a team in the top half of the table, hell I'd imagine is considerable lower than most, Moyes has spent close to £70m in just 2 windows.

Just remember that bar Suarez and Henderson almost all Kenny's purchases were shipped on, so it's not really fair to reflect that on Rodgers.

Also, no offence but referring to Rodgers as 'Mr Bullshit' makes you look immature and pathetic.

Yea much better to claim you are going in against your rivals at home as underdogs and that you are going to strive to play more like you other rivals, yeah Rodgers has it all wrong...

Agreed, but who would you say has a better midfield in the league? I think our midfield gets a bit underrated i only see City as having a better one, certainly not elite though as you say.

I'd rather have Matic/Luiz/Oscar than Gerrard/Henderson/Another any day of the week.

I'd rather have Paulinho/Eriksen/Sandro and Ozil/Flamini/Ramsey too now I think of it.

Rooney and van Persie.

Have you the same stats for the Spurs match? The pair both had an off day yesterday, Suarez and Sturridge are usually running off each other, the 11 men behind the ball the West Ham were playing made fluidity between them in the final third virtually impossible.
