I don't think Berbatov will start another game till Blackburn away now.
So no Hargreaves, Berbatov, Smalling, Park, Vidic, Scholes or Fletcher.
Park, Vidic and Scholes all to start on Tuesday I reckon, potentially Smalling too?
Hm, quite surprised at that I have to say, I don't see the point in leaving players out. Should still be enough to beat Everton, but I'd have rather done it with as much comfort as possible.
There's some serious weak points in our team today - Both central midfielders are dreadfully out of form and Evans' good performances this season are limited to a handfull.
Does Cahill play for Everton?

Liverpool away. That's the first PL match Vidic has missed out all season.
In the two weeks after this match we have to play Arsenal and Chelsea, and both legs of a Champions League Semi Final, the point of leaving players out is to make sure as many of our players as possible are fresh for those games.

Liverpool away.
But yes, first he missed because he's rested.
No league win at OT for Everton since 1992
Hate stats like that
I understand the reason for rotation, but when there is an increased chance of shooting yourself in the foot it's nervy. I mean planning for Arsenal and Chelsea is all well and good, but we need 3 points here too.

Stamford Bridge.Worrying - we are undefeated when Vidic has started in the league this season![]()
Our top players are going to miss matches anyway, I'd rather it was through Ferguson prioritizing matches rather than through injuries or burnout.
For all the people doubting Evans, do you not remember the class this boy has exuded over the past 2 years? A poor patch of form doesn't change that. Form is temporary, class is permenant, and Evans has proven himself as a class act in the past and he'll be a big MUFC player of the future.
