On a good day of course.
Moyes is a better manager than HALF the Caf...![]()
A certain segment of posters here seem to think this is Alex Ferguson Football Club or David Moyes Football Club. Fans incapable of formulating their own opinions, and, as such, blindly support the players who are in favour with whoever the current manager is. If the manager does not select Kagawa, then he is 100% correct, and you are not a true United supporter unless you agree with the manager and criticise the player. What's with all the praise? Last time I posted in this thread I was attacked.
Me too... guess we're both within the half of Caf that Moyes isn't better than...I have always stood by Kagawa and said he is an electrifying player. Amazing that so many did not see it coming: play him consistently and you have a footballer who would not look out of place in Bayern's starting 11.
I have been proven mightily correct.

Pogue dubbed me a 'Kagawa cheerleader' once. I guess unlike most, I have a keen eye to know who to sing and dance for.Me too... guess we're both within the half of Caf that Moyes isn't better than...![]()
I disagree with 90% of what he says, but he's right there. Most of the people who posted in this thread seemed to be against him and didn't rate him for whatever reason, always first to comment on any tiny mistake. They're nowhere to be seen now he's been given a proper chance though. You act as if you are the only one, but in reality I think most fans saw that too.

I have the last laugh. Again. Let us celebrate.
Fair enough if that's the case, I always figured it was a small but vocal group of people who didn't rate him highly.I disagree with 90% of what he says, but he's right there. Unfortunately the inept manager we have didn't see it earlier...You act as if you are the only one, but in reality I think most fans saw that too.
Moyes even pronounced "Shinji" correctly in the press conference.![]()

Perhaps he'd ask Shinji's recommendations the next time they go to a sushi restuarant.Moyes even pronounced "Shinji" correctly in the press conference.![]()
Might have been just a few people dominating the thread, didn't really take notice. Around November/December time though all you saw in here was just pure negativity about him apart from a few people defending him. Definitely felt like the majority though.Fair enough if that's the case, I always figured it was a small but vocal group of people who didn't rate him highly.
Our best player in the Champions League this season:
Moyes man management is absolutely awful this season though. Kagawa clearly needs a run of game, he needs to feel trusted. And we all see how good he is when that's was given, AM position or not.Well I think it rules out this nonsense that he's incapable of playing out wide as some people have suggested, blaming Moyes for some of his performances. While Kagawa should have been given more minutes earlier on in the season he also wasn't playing all that great when he did get an opportunity.
There was this moment in the first half. Kagawa received a slightly overhit pass from Carrick with Ribery and Lahm bearing down on him. In one swift movement, not only did he collect the ball but also did a slight drop of the shoulder and turned the other way to leave both Ribery and Lahm behind. It was crisp and beautiful. I am absolutely sure no one in that starting 11 apart from him would have even tried that, let alone pull it off. His control and ability to pick the right pass is a delight. I would be gutted if we lost him.
Agreed. There were two or three small but significant moments like those. No one else in the team(except probably Mata) could do those things. When the whole team is under constant pressure and everyone is trying to relieve the pressure on themselves by either clearing the ball or passing it to the nearest player, holding play like those were like a breath of fresh air. Someone needs to GIF out those moments. Don't think it stuck out that much in real time. The Gifs will help glorify it.
What did he say about kagawa? Finally called him Shinji? It only took 8 months of working with him to actually be able to pronounce his ridiculously hard name. Remarkable.
I agree that that mentality is wrong but I think those that defended him early on this season were correct in doing so. The manager showed no faith in him whatsoever and didn't give a player of his calibre the run a player of his calibre deserves. Also, the insistence of Moyes on playing such a rigid formation for most of the season with two strikers and a flat 4 in midfield is no place for a technical short passer like Kagawa and it's no wonder he didn't make an impact. It really is simple, when he is good he'll get praised and when he is shit he'll get criticized. I never understand the mentality "I stood by him this long time so I feel like vindicated hell yeah !!!".
What did he say about kagawa?

He was shit for a while and now he's been amazing.
Hilarious analysis.
What's hilarious is sticking up for players even when they're underperforming. Kagawa had an awful start to the season. Not influencing games, missing games because he was ill after eating too much and in general not being up the the level.
Now Moyes has slowly b
