It seems to me that folks are coming to the Rooney/Tevez/Berbatov 'question' from the wrong angle here.
SAF's current challenge is to get each of the 3 into good enough form, and sufficiently developed mutual understanding, that when a player is suspended or injured the other 2 will do an excellent job for us. Once these objectives are achieved he also has the luxury of 'refreshing' the starting line-up periodically and preventing the players from burnout.
At this stage SAF doesn't need to settle on which combination is going to be his first choice for whichever circumstances. Let's hope he get's it all sorted for 'squeaky-bum time' though.
