Squad depth was always going to be an issue for Spurs this season.

Yeah I agree, you really need luck on your side with injuries to survive with our squad. Unfortunately this season (same with last season) we have struggled a lot with injuries to key players.

If they lose tonight (which is looking likely) and Liverpool and Burnley win tomorrow night, they could be 7th in the league. I wonder what all the Pochettino lovers on here would say to that.

All the while Kane remains fit, Spurs are always in with a chance.

We actually played quite well tonight and made enough chances to win, other than kane we have no cutting edge though. Alli and Eriksen both horribly out of form and it is costing us.

In a way, they're effectively bottling their move into their new stadium.

Come unraveled this season and they'll lose key players/manager in the Summer, and what do they do...? You know the answer.

Spurs gonna Spur.

Not to turn into a wum, though was tempted.Nothing personal but I just loathed the smugness some of your fellow fans possesed these past 3 seasons maybe more, and seeing Spurs sit 5th with a decent chance of falling to 7th full 8 points behind us is just kinda satisfying.

Their first big crisis under Pochettino? The miss of Alderweireld has really hit them badly imo.

The games are going to start coming thick and fast now. With them in a bad spell of form, with a thin squad. They could lose a lot of ground if they're not careful.

Their away record was fantastic and had insane record, this time they have lost their last 3 away games.

Still a good side but a real battle for top 4 on now. Have the same points tally after 14 games that we had last season.

Could be 16 behind City after tomorrow!
Providing they do, City would still be ahead of them even if they hadn't have played a game since their 3-0 win v Burnley 5 weeks ago (If I researched that correctly)

would be interesting if they miss out on Top 4. No doubt players like Alderweireld and Eriksen will be gone, still a long way to go though but they will fight for 4th at best this season.

With their form in europe it's very surprising, is it Alderweireld's injury ? or just a general loss of form ?

We need to sign Kane even if it means selling Lukaku after one season. I'd imagine he's head will turn after this season.

I like Poch and rate him, but if he can't win a title with this Spurs' squad, he isn't winning one with this Man United team. They are better in probably every position except CM and GK.
