Spurs have already beaten the dippers.
this will be a bloody tough game, a real test for us....
this will be a bloody tough game, a real test for us....
this is a tough one, obviously cant afford to lose so early in the season again:
Foster
brown
vidic
rio (if fit obviously)
evra - who owes lennon a challenge
fletcher
carrick
anderson - about time he gets going
nani
berbatov - players tend to do well against old clubs
rooney
prediction: 0-1, fletcher
is rio fit for this ?
Park should start, we need his energy to track down Lennon who gave Evra torried time in teh carling cup final last season.
its an important week : spurs away, Turkey trip, then City.
Giggs rested too as you know, Anderson stayed home as far as I know and Carrick only came on at half time against Slovenia. Only Fletcher played two full games and he's our most in form midfielder.I see hardly anyone has put Scholes into their starting 11s. I say you alll are mad. He trained during the international break and will be well rested. I exptected a midfield of Fletcher-Scholes or Carrick-Scholes or even Fletcher-Giggs.
Owen should be considered to start tomorrow if Berba or Wayne are feeling a bit tired after the internationals.. I think the Spurs defence would suit more to Owen than for Berba, who is going to have a tough time at WHL... He should only be used as a sub if we need a goal in the 2nd half..

1-2![]()
Gomes = Foster
Corluka < O'Shea/Brown
King < Vidic
Bassong < Evans
Ekotto < Evra
Lennon > Valencia
Huddlestone < Carrick
Palacios < Fletcher
Keane < Nani
Defoe < Rooney
Crouch < Berbatov
I don't really think we'll line up like that though, I reckon we'll play some sort of 4-3-3 with Giggs or Anderson instead of Valencia, but if I had Lennon vs. Giggs I'd have to give it to Giggs and that'd been too cruel.
Any updates on:
Obertan
Rafael
can't believe the lack of belief...Heart would love a win, head says loss or draw.
no!
442!
I am rather optimistic that we can get 3 points today, since Modric isnt playing.
I think we can handle Spurs attacking power, and I hope we have enough to trouble them. Nani, Rooney and Berbatov are our only match winners.
