Rooney has been terrible IMO. Put Kagawa on in his place and keep going for the second goal. Don't understand why we sat back after taking the lead, West Brom are utterly dogshite. The ref... well, the less said the better.
Its not been great but definitely better than some of the dross we've served up this season.
Rooney's been poor though, agreed.
It doesn't need to be deliberate if it denies a clear goal scoring opportunity. That still wouldn't make it deliberate though if he couldn't get his arm out of the way. Until I see it again though I don't know whether I think it was deliberate or not.
He isn't a great passer, no, but every time he gets it he looks to pass it forward. It's a nice change to what we see from some of the others.
A few are a bit blinded by a need to defend Fellaini as a warped defence of Moyes so not surprising. He is just too clumsy for a central midfielder.
Moyes doing his best to look frustrated with everything
For the amount Rooney is getting paid, I expect far more. His touch, control and creativity for a #10 is just not great.

Very few fouls are deliberate.Surely it does because if it isn't deliberate it isn't a foul.
Agreed.
It's a noble sentiment to rush to the defense of a maligned footballer, but the fact remains undisputed that Fellaini is not a Man United quality midfielder. Unless, of course, we're okay with being a seventh place club.

I don't know if he's been the word performing player, but he's clearly out of place ability wise compared to the rest of the team. In that respect, he's our worst player, performance wise he's been pretty much like everyone else, just decent. So you agree with him that he's been our worst player this half ?

Sorry to break the news, but it was not deliberate. No handball.
That is for another debate (and I agree that he isn't good enough to start - or probably be even in the bench of a top team). The point is that today he wasn't bad and there have been a few players worse than him in our team today which makes the critics a bit biased and unfair.Agreed.

Agree about Rooney, he's been shocking considering what we're paying him.

If any striker needs dropping it isn't Van Persie. And Rooney too.
Id like to see RVP dropped and us play Kagawa or Mata as #10 with Rooney up top.

It's like they're watching another game, I just can't think of another explanation. Fellaini hasn't given the ball away that often at all and he's given the right pass more often than not. A lot of forward moves actually started with him playing a good first ball forward. It's never spectacular but almost always useful. Many just aren't giving him a chance.Fellaini has given the ball away the second least in the team.
Not sure what the composure stuff is about, he can look clumsy but he played some clever passes forward throughout that half.
At least it wasn't the back of YOUR trousers.I just went to the toilet in the pub I'm in, there was this guy diligently washing his hands, really making sure they were properly washed. Despite there being 2 hand dryers of the high speed quick dry variety, he wiped his hands on the back of his trousers.![]()
