Isn't that convenient...
I'm sure you know, but that's the anniversary of Columbine.

No the fact that he was the first Black President will put him under more scrutiny not elevate him into this imaginary perception you are talking about. Half the illiterates didnt like him JUST cause he was black. The fact he was the first black president gives him a slightly different, and therefore maybe an elevated, perception. Everyone remembers the 'first', whether its black, woman, differently sexually inclined. Sadiq Khan is kind of getting that here. And despite him being a mate of mine (grew up together and entered football competitions, etc) he's not doing that much more than Boris, Ken, etc. But he's got a different perception.
The madness of it all. I sometimes wonder if US Americans actually realize how insane all these seems to other western countries.
I mean you have to only go as far as Canada to see how well stricter gun laws and background checks actually work. But hey I guess they are just simply too polite to shoot people, which would never work in the US because you know secretly they are all giant arseholes.
Just checked online... The bidding for them on GunBroker is starting at an average of $300 right now, with final sale prices ending up between $750-$1000.
They retailed for less than $200 not long ago.
Wish I could, but it would cost me my job.
Fair play to Rubio for showing up and having a conversation. That's what you want from your representatives, I think.

I don't see a problem praising him for doing his job well.Again...he shouldn't be getting praised for this, it's literally his job.

The pro gun opinion will want to arm the cops heavier to solve this problem. Which is a circle of wrong decisions.

Showing up to a townhall meeting is doing his job WELL? If he did his job and supported gun reform in the first place then this wouldnt have happened at all.I don't see a problem praising him for doing his job well.
All these students from Florida who are advocating for stricter gun control are unpatriotic socialists who are hell bent on taken away our freedoms. These traitors all need to be lined up against a wall and shot.

Can one of the techy savvy tards please put up a nice picture showing the gun violence/shootings side by side? Like player ratings. Thanks.
The ones who support the complete lack of regulation don’t care what it looks like to the rest of the world. They’ll never visit it.I sometimes wonder if US Americans actually realize how insane all these seems to other western countries.
Except for the fact that there are teachers all over the place who ARE some of the super duper pro NRA types. It would be cool if every student and teacher in the US walked out and stayed out until action was taken on gun control.
Its crazy. No political will combined with a gun culture.

By the end of it, you too will come to the conclusion that its neither useful for hunting or self-defence/protection

The whole arming teachers thing is just a diversion. It’s not meant to be taken seriously. They’re doing exactly what they always do after one of these shootings. Spew a load of hot air until the initial outrage dies down and/or some other big story breaks and the gun control issue fades into the background.
You say that at the moment, but...
The orange buffoon coming out with that shit might even believe what he’s saying. But he’s being fed lines by people far cleverer than him. Not a hope in hell will they ever introduce actual legislation to arm teachers. Wait and see.
That’s what the NRA used to be about. It’s only been since about 1980 that they became radicalized against gun control.I mean it should be in the interest of serious gun enthusiast to keep guns out of the hand of mentally ill nut jobs.
You're looking at it from your perspective. His main job is to represent his electorate and their views.Showing up to a townhall meeting is doing his job WELL? If he did his job and supported gun reform in the first place then this wouldnt have happened at all.

So tomorrow if his electorate wants all drugs legalized is he going to make it happen in his state? He is representing the minority group's views cause that suits his views since he is receiving donations from the NRA cnuts. It doesnt mean he is doing the right thing. Dont fall for everything the politician says cause that exactly what he did at the townhall - "I need to worry about my agenda".You're looking at it from your perspective. I agree it probably won't actually happen, but I think a good number of Republican politicians would genuinely like to see this; it's not some fringe idea but instead something a significant portion of the actual reigning government would endorse.
And when a deranged teacher goes on a killing spree, they will bring up mental health issues again and then talk about putting guns in the kids's hands.
Its crazy. No political will combined with a gun culture.
