A people's Revolution

Mubarak is charging peasants $68 a day to carry out fake pro-Mubarak protests as well as violently assault those who protest. A CNN journalist was assaulted and punched 10 times in the head by 'pro mubarak' protesters.

They need to march to the palace and lynch the fecker before it all loses momentum.

Tony Blair: "Mubarak is 'immensely courageous and a force for good'

Oh feck off you odious little shit, do yourself a favour and throw yourself under a truck, hopefully you'll live through it too.

I am not there. that's why I'm crying. I wanna be there. Pro_Mubarak protests here in my street..that's where they started..and my family is scared. I don't know what to do..I wanna go to tahrir. numbers matter

I am crying

Sorry mate. Sounds horrible. I don't believe this will all be an opportunity lost.

As a yank, I wish Obama would get off the fence and say what he wants to say. Not sure there's much else he could DO for immediate effect. Would mean a hell of a lot to us over here.

Anyway, hang in there.

Many of the thugs arrested in Tahrir have police ID's

Thugs are starting to appear in Mahalla and Mansoura cities. feck U MUBARAK..feck U TRAITOR

The day he got appointed ME Envoy was the day I got rid of any doubts in my mind about the contempt and utter disdain the rest of the world has for Arabs and Muslims.

I've said this multiple times, suicide bombers instead of bombing little Israeli kids, or buses, or mosques, should be trying to kill feckers like him. Yes, I know, he is only one, and there are countless others like him, but it would still feel good. :D

I am crying

You have the support of the majority of the world. Almost nobody likes a cruel dictator the likes of Mubarak. From what I've seen the Egyptian people are a proud people, and you've got to know that most of us looking in from the outside are so very proud of your courage. You can do this...

If I were there... I'd try to get to the top of one of the buildings at the flank of the thugs... then when the thugs retreat back down the street... drop a piano or something off the building. It's the bugs bunny war strategy. (My attempt to cheer up Avatar, if that's at all possible)

Ban Ki-Moon just basically told Mubarak to feck off

Cameron, to be fair to him, said some of the right things

Good to hear you're okay Avatar. Impossible decision, and outsiders have no right to advise you what to do in a situation like this. But good luck whatever you decide.

What the feck are the west doing now?!

They were so keen to bring 'democracy' to Iraq that they went to war over it, now they watch on as a tyrannous dictator slays his people because they had the audacity to ask for human rights and democracy.

The hypocrisy is just stunning, I hope Egypt becomes liberated and then tells the west to get fecked, wouldn't be surprised if this was yet another masterclass by the CIA.

Cameron, to be fair to him, said some of the right things

I listened to him in the commons today, and all he said was "blah blah blah peaceful tranisiton...blah blah blah...rights for Egyptians...blah blah..no violence etc"

Essentially all he did was read Obama's hymn sheet.

Better than Blair, and he's actually in government so can't speak freely and has to consider how events might pan out

I can't stand the guy but he basically suggested it was a rent-a-mob and that any government-sponsored violence was unacceptable.

What do you want him to do, invade?

He could have done the right thing and demanded that Mubarak step down in respect of his people's demands. If he really was all for promoting democracy worldwide then he'd also follow the condemnations with threats of sanctions.

No need for any military intervention.

The West should do nothing they are damned if they do and damned if they don't - they should stand back this is an internal matter.

All I know is this is a brilliant excuse for feckin traders to send the oil price rising - the connection is tenuous to say the least.

Dominic Waghorn's claiming personal credit for saving a demonstrator... feck's sake, it's not about you mate.

He's also still saying most of these pro-Mubarak people are genuine. Says it started as a rent-a-mob with some mukharabat but picked up tens of thousands of supporters along the way, and that Mubarak couldn't even afford to pay this number of people off and wouldn't have been able to organise them...

I still reckon that's bollocks

It is bollocks, many of these pro-mubarak thugs have been found with police IDs.

They've just ditched their police uniforms for casuals.

Friday is going to be mental. Millions of worshippers wearing white and coming out, and if there happen to be clashes, the sight it's gonna be :scared:

Mubarak really needs to be forced to go NOW.

Army told to intervene today, with the riot police likely to come again later, I hope something happens!

$17 apparently according to witnesses for pro-murbarak supporters, although that isn't confirmed. Police in plain clothes as well as security guards tagging along with the pro's.....

300 people killed....Unclear if it's today or in total, confirmed 500 injured today

That's what I thought, but they couldn't confirm so I didn't want to say it as such.

Unbelievable coverage at the moment, truly sad.

Why the feck are Sky trying to give legitimacy to the Pro-Mubarak gangsters...Saddam Hussein had his supporters too, didn't seem to matter for him

Thugs surrounding the square. Many protesters left. State TV showed nothing from Tahrir square today. They will take the square today. Cars burning in front of the museum..some say the museum itself is on fire. The thugs have molotov and they threw some from the top of the buildings . Some are expecting Martial Law to be announced

Some army officer considered suicide. he couldn't point the gun at either side and they say we got no orders...a soldier cried as far as I heard..not sure though
