what!!! has he injured himself blowing his bloody nose. The injuries this season are fecking ridiculous..............

to be fair, those back injuries can flare up just by getting in your Ferrari bending and twisting the wrong way

Is it time for Anderson to be given another shot during the run-in? Another poor performance by Carrick, and Scholes/Giggs can probably just about manage to keep a place penned down between them.

I think Fergie really needs to try to decide how best to play Anderson, let him into the first time again when fit, and stick with him for a bit now. For my part, he is a box-to-box play, like an attacking version of Fletcher (Fletchers defensive skills = Andersons attacking skills and vice versa).

Anderson fecked his knee up two months ago

I wonder if he'll be playing behind Rooney next year.

I figured he was injured - do you know the extent of it? Definitely out for the rest of the season?

Either way, just as this has in some sense been Nani's season, I think next year we need to see Anderson stand up and be counted. If he plays behind Rooney as the attacking midfielder in a 4-5-1 with a bit of freedom and space to run at defenders, I think we will start to see some results.

We are in bad need of some quality in midfield, I think Anderson deserves another chance to show that he can provide it, if not however time to get the cheque book open, in my opinion. Next season is probably the last one in which we can expect meaningful contributions from Giggs and Scholes, and once they are gone we need to have a capable midfield lineup. Fletcher aside, none of the other options at the moment have really proved themselves this season - if anything, Gibson has improved the most, but he still isnt regular starting XI material and there are doubts that he ever will be.

We need to be patient with Anderson, especially so given the sudden re-emergence of Nani. Hopefully, because of the latter's brilliant form in the second half of the season, there will be less knee-jerking in light of Anderson's inconsistencies.

Yeah hes out for the season, i think SAF said when it happened he would miss at least 6 months and they hope hes fit for next season

Anderson and Hargreaves next season.

Here's hoping.

Where does Fletcher figure in your dream partnership?

I'll tell you where; i'd be mighty surprised if Hargreaves manages to even play a half season next year for United

Oh I wasnt trying to imply that was my dream midfield pairing. Merely that both would be available as squad players. Or more accurately, that it would be nice if they were. I agree with you about Hargreaves though.

Anderson - Fletcher is a pairing with potential.

Whichever the pairing, our central midfield looks to be in good shape over the next few years.

anderson's best displays came when next to Hargreaves, he had fibreglass, and gerrard in his pocket, those players have never been the same against us after that, i call it the Anderson Effect :)

yesterdays formation but with Anderson and Hargreaves replacing Gibson and Carrick, will be immense.

Wouldn't you say Gibson deserves a long term shot in the "Park-role"?

I was shocked how good he looked in attack in the first half... But he showed in the second half his energy could be used in defending, other than that moment of brilliance he helped Evra out well with Robben.

I'm curious to see what Fergie has in store for the lad.

On reflection after the performances in the last few weeks, I'm convinced Anderson would have gotten a game - and possibly performed. For me his workrate is better than Carricks, yet didn't seem to do as much as Carrick, but given Carricks recent poor performances I think if Anderson has played we may be looking at better results - but we will never know.
Anderson and Hargreaves back next season will be huge for this club. Anderson has had to grow up massively this season and I think that will be reflected next season. I think he is starting to settle in the uk now which will make a massive difference. As for Hargreaves - well, it's like a new player. Can't fecking wait personally.

He looks huge in the new team photo the fat feck.

Have we any idea when he'll be due back?

He'll be sold next summer if he doesn't get a grip.

The signing of Bebe may put a bit of pressure on Anderson as well. He has the potential to play any offensive midfield position and looks quite handy near to goal.

It's up to Ando to prove himself now.

I'd be very susprised if Bebe is in serious contention for any first team football this season.

He is due back in training in about 2 weeks. Last week presser SAF said 2-3 weeks and today again he said Anderson should be back soon.

The end of Sept target seems to be still the earliest we'll see him.

P.S. What latest team picture does he look fat in ?

Well I wasnt thinking of this year, but the near future. He's progressed a very long way in a short space of time and you just never know. He's got Fergie very excited, that's for sure.

Has he? I haven't seen anything of what Fergie has said about him. Having said that though, Fergie was waxxing lyrical over Manucho when we signed him.

Good god Ando.

He's bloated because of the medication after the accident right?

right?

jesus...

You can't tell anything from the photo.

His momma said he is just big-boned and the rest of you need to leave him alone.

Oh and don't you know some people of a certain heritage just naturally have a big ole booty, it's not that they are fat.

I'd certainly like to see one of a better quality but from that picture he looks huge. Having said that though Nani looks really skinny so it's probably just a shit pic.

The shirt just makes him look retarded because of the fit of it.

Nani is actually seems quite skinny - just ripped like a mofo. Why sometimes he is easy to knock off the ball.
