I like him. Quick, strong and good on the ball.

I saw the highlights of the reserves game he played quite recently and he impressed me there too. I like him and Obertan, both have pace, are tall, and seem to like to run at defenders. Obertan in particular could be a really big player for us if he fulfills his potential.

Not too shabby eh? Fast, as the commentator point out on Sky, well-balanced and threatened with his runs towards the box. Exciting debut.

Promising I guess.

He didn't seem too keen to stay on the left though - needs to learn some positional maturity. A few times Anderson was looking for an out ball but he had wandered inside.

Bebe fails to score on his senior debut. With Sir Alex Ferguson again not watching his 7m impulse buy, Bebe failed to register a goal on a day that Manchester United ran rampant on Scunthorpe United. It must be concerning considering....

Needs to become more aware of team mates, and show more composure. I suppose he's trying too hard to impress.

need to say something about how he was expected to start, then not deemed good enough and only managed to get a place on the bench....then only brought on at 5-1 up, because he couldnt be trusted

You're Ian Ladyman and I claim my £5 :smirk:

Very short first outing but impressed somewhat, seems to have potential to work with but will take some time I think.

Had something about him on the ball, quick and skillful.

Wish him the very best would love him to do well at Old Trafford and shut everyone up.

Keep doing your thing.....

Bebe Bebe Bebe ooooh Bebe Bebe Bebe ooooh

I liked that the first thing he did was run at goal and try to score with a belter. All to easy to just play yourself in, he wanted to make things happen right up till the last minute. Very much looking forward to seeing more.

An unusual day indeed. Praise from the DAILY MAIL!:

Ferguson will also be pleased to hear positive reports from Mike Phelan about the late contribution of £7.4million signing Bebe.

The 20- year-old was only on the field for 16 minutes and the first three of those were spent with his hands on his hips as a pitch invader - naked apart from his socks - did a couple of lengths of the field.
But when the youngster was finally given his opportunity he acquitted himself well. He would appear to have pace to spare and he may even have scored a spectacular goal, only for his ambitious shot to take a deflection and spin over the crossbar.

Shocking! Written by a credited journo as well instead of the anonymous "Sportsmail Reporter" credited with the shitty previous stories.

I'm bigging him up too. I honestly believe that we witnessed the start of something special last night. Now I understand why Fergie and Phelan have been playing him down, I reckon they think they've got a new Ronaldo on their hands!

I dont care that it was against lower opposition, and that they were well beaten when he came on.... the boy has everything. Huge potential. Handled the right way he's gonna be some player !

He looks fast and willing/able to take on his man. That's about all I'm prepared to say at this point! ;)

He looked to have a lot of belief in his own abilities.

I said exactly that when I saw the YouTube clips when he was signed and a couple of posters thought it was muppetry. I will now claim my deserved validation and proclaim myself, er... the new Scholesy!

Damn, this line of thought did not turn out the way I wanted it to :nervous:
