UFC 96 Predictions lads:

Q. Jackson vs K. Jardine

G. Gonzaga v S. Carwin

P. Sell v M. Brown

M. Hamill v M. Munoz

G. Maynard v J. Miller

T. McCrory v R. Madigan

K. Grove v J. Day

T. Boetsch v J. Britz

B. Vera v M. Patt

A. Riley v S. Nelson

Q. Jackson vs K. Jardine
I think Rampage will rip him apart.

G. Gonzaga v S. Carwin
Gonzaga at his best is as good as anyone, he is an animal. Carwin seems to be highly fancied though.

P. Sell v M. Brown
I have a feeling Brown will win and I have no idea why.

M. Hamill v M. Munoz
Hamill should be too strong. He is a beast of a wrestler.

G. Maynard v J. Miller
I don't like Maynard so I hope Miller kicks his ass.

T. McCrory v R. Madigan
McCrory is an exceptional fighter. I'll go for him, by submission obviously.

K. Grove v J. Day
Grove is a bit inconsistent. This will be close. I'm going for Day but it's a flip of a coin for me.

T. Boetsch v J. Brilz
Boetsch because I've seen him before.

B. Vera v M. Patt
Vera to win.

A. Riley v S. Nelson
I go with Riley because he is more experienced.

If Quinton wins well, I presume he will get another title shot.

dana has pretty much said as much... though in truth i think macheda deserves the shot more... but as hes not popular with fans they are trying their best to keep him away from it...

i think evans would take quinton though... evans is a great boxer and before you can take somebody down you have to get past hand range... jackson does not have the legs or hands imo to do that...

as for tonights im going to go for

jackson (though I wouldnt be shocked if jardine leg kicked him to oblivion but if he gets inside he should take him and in 15 mins fighting he should get inside)
Gonzaga
sell
Hamill

I agree with that. I think Machida really deserves a title shot. Rashad should have too much for Rampage also.

mir lesnar now on ufc 100...thats shaping to to be quite a night... 3 confirmed fights Mir vs lesnar, gsp vs alves, and bisping vs henderson...

bj penn must be due a fight around that time as well (though they may save that for a later UFC... 101 is noguera and coture i believe)

also may 23rd for evans vs jackson... that only gives jackson 10 weeks...

Really enjoyed 96. Carwin seems like a fecking animal, though the fact that he's never gotten past the first round may prove to be his downfall should anyone take him 2 rounds.

Thought the Rampage Jardine fight was excellent. Jardine was alot better than I thought and I actually thought he was gonna win it till he got knocked down in the last seconds.

The thing with the Carwin fight is that Gonzaga had him beaten. Gonzaga obviously too it for granted that he was just about to win and got caught out of nowhere. I think Carwin was lucky although he looked ok.

What was the story with the ref in the Brown v Sell fight? Why the hell did the ref go to stop it and then let them fight again. Sell got hit with at least 25 very good shots. He was annihilated.

I never watch it. But I have it on now. Didn't like that Jardile fella. Who was that hairy Muay Thai fella?

Yeah the ref in the Brown fight was a disgrace. Brown was fecking destroying him, absolutely no sign of Sell even being able to defend himself. I found it a bit hard to watch tbh.

Gonzaga had Carwin beat alright. In the first few seconds it looked like it was going to be stopped.

Lesnar v Mir hasn't been confirmed for UFC 100. Dana has said now that it will take place in the summer. Which is a shame, UFC 100 was shaping up to be class, with GSP v Alves and Bisping v Henderson.

Who do you fancy between Rashad/Rampage?

Who do you fancy between Rashad/Rampage?

Rashad will probably be the underdog but I think he will beat Rampage. His stand up is as good if not better than Rampage's. He is also a better wrestler and better at defending attacks.

I thought Silva v Machida was the number one contenders match? Machida should get a crack at it. Now he'll have to fight somebody else, probably Forrest, to earn another title shot that he already did earn.

The way the commentors were talking last night, Rampage v Rashad was definitely happening, no?

Forrest Griffin is expected to return to the UFC in August at UFC 101 to rematch Keith Jardine. For those of you who don’t remember, Jardine defeated Griffin back in Dec. 2007 at UFC 66.

MMAFrenzy.com reported that Griffin was likely to square off with the loser of UFC 96’s headliner between light heavyweight contenders Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Keith Jardine.

Griffin is coming off of successful surgery earlier this year to repair a broken hand suffered in his light-heavyweight title defense loss to Rashad Evans in December at UFC 92. Meanwhile, Jardine suffered a hard fought unanimous decision loss to Quinton Jackson this past weekend at UFC 96.

UFC 101 is tentatively scheduled to take place in Portland, Oregon but the UFC hasn’t confirmed any details about the event yet. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Randy Couture is the only other fight that has been discussed so far for UFC 101.

Nah, not yet. It keeps saying User downloading session limit is reached. Please try again in few minutes. I wonder to I have to download that file sharing program to get it working?

I'm not sure mate, I didn't have to when I got hold of the first 6, wish I'd got hold of more now!

Number 8 is working for me at the minute, did one, left it a few minutes then another worked.

I think a few of the older ones have been removed...

I got one, well it'd downloading. 2.5 hours to go.

I had started to download Part 1 of UFC 30. I hope that has the Shonie Carter v Matt Serra match on that part. I can't find it anywhere on the Net and I still think it was the best knockout that I have seen.

I tell ya what, lets do half each, and then I'll burn them for you and you do the same and we can exchange?

Why do people seem to hate Rashad by the way?

Looks too much like Nigel Reo Coker for my liking.

the 1st few are great... proper tough guy comps... 3 fights in a night and all that...

it changes loads tp what we have today... still ot sure which i like more

Good. Machida deserves a shot. It's a pity that Rampage suffered an injury though.

interesting fight evans vs machida...

machida controlls the distance so well and his timimg of when to step in is impecable... evans on the other hand has great hands if he can make machida trade... im realy looking forward to that fight

Is there any particular ones you would recommend?

Is there any particular ones you would recommend?

depends what you like... the 1st one will always be one of my favourites because i remember seeing it when i was 18 on video and it made me change some of the training i did...

then people like dan severn smashing the place to pieces...

in truth the fights are better with time limits and weight divisions... but the spectacle if some of the early ones is great...

try watching some old pride videos and watching fedor as well

Nice one.

I've got a site where I can them all from, so will go through them and see what I like...

dan hardy announced for ufc 99 vs marcus davies

should be a good fight and i imagine it will be on the main card again... good exposure in the states...

3rd fight of a 4 fight deal ... would be interesting to see what names get thrown around if he wins this fight as well...

and i think it is a fight he can win...
